At 0403 hours, Rescue Squad 14, Chief 14 (Fusco), and Chief 14A (McCoy) responded to the 8900 block of Chestnut Avenue, in Company 19’s area, for the house fire.  Units arrived to find heavy fire showing.

Rescue Squad 14 with 8 volunteers arrived and established the RIT on side “A”.  Shortly after arriving, Command ordered everyone to evacuate the structure.  Crews operated from the exterior and quickly knocked down the fire.

Rescue Squad 14 was ready for service at 0506 hours.
