In 2007, Company 14 responded on 11 fires in the Springhill Lake Apartment Complex.  This trend of fires seems to be continuing in 2008.

At 0320 hours, Truck 14 was alerted to the 9100 block of Springhill Lane for flames coming from a building.  Truck 14 arrived with fire showing from a one-story heating plant.

The truck crew forced entry into the building and located a fire in the ceiling with sprinkler activation.  Flames were quickly knocked down, ventilation holes were cut in the roof to ventilate, and checks for extension were negative.

Truck 14 was ready for service at 0433 hours.
