With two crews called in, Truck 14 and Rescue Squad 14 were dispatched to the 9700blk Muirkirk Road for the apartment fire at 1614 hours.  Units arrived to find fire in the terrace level of a four story apartment building.

The units from 14 arrived with the truck positioning on side charlie, throwing ladders, and checking the roof, and the squad conducting the primary search of the entire building with negative results and controlling utilities.

The fire was quickly brought under control and the units from 14 were ready for service at 1712 hours.
