Busy Veterans Day Weekend – 9th-12th November 2007

18 box alarms, 5 working fires and 2 cut jobs, kept the Berwyn Heights Volunteers busy this Veterans Day Holiday Weekend.

House Fire
Rescue Squad 14 was alerted as the third due special service to the house fire in the 10100 block of Riggs Road. The rescue squad was assigned RIT duties and later conducted the secondary search of the house.

Vacant Building Fire
Truck 14 located a fire in the rear of this vacant building in Beltsville. This is the second fire that units have responded to at this location.

The truck and squad responded to an apartment fire in the 1400 block of University Boulevard in Company 34's area.
