Just as Rescue Squad 14 cleared the house fire on Hannon Street at 1958 hours, Public Safety Communications advised the squad to respond to Edwards Place and Langley Way, in Company 34’s area, for the personal injury accident.  Engine 911 was on scene and advised they had one trapped.

Rescue Squad 14 with 8 volunteers and Chief 14 (Fusco) arrived and found a car into a tractor trailer with one trapped.  The squad crew quickly stabilized the car, and removed two doors, a B-post and the roof to provide patient access.  The patient was removed out the rear of the car and transported to a local trauma center.

Rescue Squad 14 was ready for service at 2020 hours.
