The Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Inc. (BHVFD) is currently seeking grant management services for our FY2018, volunteer firefighter recruitment and retention program funded by a Federal Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant.

This current SAFER grant will build on the successes of the previous grant by providing a recruitment and retention (R&R) program offering advanced firefighter training, leadership/career training, a nominal stipend and tuition assistance for higher education reimbursement, as well as a media marketing campaign.
