Rescue Squad 14, Chief 14A.
At 1735, Rescue Squad 14 and Chief 14A were dispatched to a high angle rescue at Six Flags Amusement Park in Upper Marlboro. The Jokers Jinx roller coaster stalled 80 feet above ground at about a 30 degree angle leaving 24 riders stranded. The BHVFD worked in conjunction with several other local fire departments to lower riders to the ground. Riders were removed from their seats to a tower ladder bucket by the PGFD Technical Rescue Team, the tower bucket then lowered the riders to the ground. Rescue Squad 14 and Chief 14A were placed in service at 2230.
