Jan 12th: At around 4pm, Rescue Squad 14 and its volunteer crew were alerted to the 3500blk of 55th Ave in Bladensburg for reports of a House Fire. Bladensburg VFD Engine 9 arrived to find smoke showing from a duplex and requested the Working Fire Dispatch. Squad 14 arrived as the 2nd due special service as the search company and conducted searched of both sides of the duplex. Units operated for approximately two hours before returning to service.
