
3rd Fire for the day for Truck 14
At 1937 Company 14 was back in Laurel for another house fire, this one on Clays Ln.
Units went on scene with smoke showing from a single family dwelling. Truck 14 was second arriving special service and went to work searching.
After primary searches were underway, units found fire on the second floor and in the knee walls. The truck crew went to work opening up multiple sections of the roof, as well as the walls and ceiling to locate the bulk of the fire.
Utilities were secured and searches negative. After the fire was out the truck crew helped overhaul. Chief 14B assisted at the command post. Company 14 was ready for service at 2145 hours.
