Dec 27th: Rescue Squad 14 and its volunteer crew were alerted to the South-Bound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in the area of Greenbelt Road for a reported accident with a vehicle off the roadway. The squad crew arrived to find a multi-vehicle accident with one off the roadway with the driver trapped. The squad crew worked to stabilize the vehicle, and remove all doors, roof, and roll the dash using our Amkus hydraulic rescue tools to remove the trapped driver. The driver was transported to an area trauma center for treatment. The scene was then turned over to the US Park Police.
