On Saturday May 2nd, 2020, at around 11:30am, Ladder Truck 14 (1st due Truck) , Chief 14B, and surrounding companies were alerted to the 9300Blk of 51st Avenue in College Park (Co.11 Branchville VFD Area) for multiple reports of a house on fire. Units from BHVFD arrived on scene shortly after Engine 11 to find fire showing from the rear of a house. The crew of Truck 14 laddered, vertically ventilated, opened up, and conducted searches of the house. Chief 14B had incident command. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Prince George’s County Fire Marshall’s Office.
