March 2nd (3:00 AM) – Truck 14 and its volunteer crew was dispatched as the first due ladder truck to an apartment fire on the 5200 block of Newton Street in Bladensburg. First arriving units found fire showing from the top floor of an apartment. Truck 14 split crews: the outside team laddered the building and worked on the roof to find pockets of fire, while the inside team conducted searches, opened up the apartment, and assisted in extinguishing the fire.
