Dec 23rd- At approximately 5:02pm, Fire units were dispatched to the 6100 block of Old Central Ave for a reported structure fire. On scene, crews found a 3-story former educational facility with smoke showing from a fire on the 2nd floor. Due to building & weather conditions a 2nd alarm was requested, bringing Ladder Truck 14 and its volunteer crew to the scene as the 1st due Truck on the 2nd Alarm. Ladder Truck 14 operated for several hours.
