Jan 2- After clearing a rescue local, Rescue Squad 14 and its volunteer crew was dispatched as the Search Company to the 3400 block of Newton St in Mt. Rainerfor a house on fire. Squad 14 was first arriving special service. The crew forced entry into the house and while performing searches the crew located a fire on the top floor. Units opened up and the fire was quickly extinguished. Squad 14 operated for approximately 1 hour.
