At 1710 hours on April 2nd, Rescue Squad 14 responded to the 6500 block of Manton Way in Lanham.

First arriving units reported smoke showing from a 2 story single family dwelling with a walkout basement. A small fire was quickly located in the basement and extinguished.

Rescue Squad 14 conducted a primary and secondary search of the entire house with negative results.
