Truck 14 with a crew of 8 were dispatched as the first special service at 0252 hours for the house fire in the 7400 blk of Mathew St in Co. 48’s first due.

Truck 14 was the first arriving unit and found fire in the walls from an initially reported chimney fire.

Truck 14 completed the primary searches and opened up for Engine 35 to get a line in place.

The driver and tillerman controlled utilities and ensured the house was laddered and ventilated the structure. Company 14 was ready for service at 0414 hours.
