June 5th– Ladder Truck 14 and its volunteer crew were alerted to the 8300Blk of Baltimore Ave in College Park for a reported hotel on fire. College Park VFD arrived to find smoke showing from the roof of a 6-story hotel, and the assignment was upgraded to a high-rise fire. BHVFD reported to the roof and accessed the mechanical room to find insulation on fire. Units operated for several hours to remove smoke and check for extension.
