June 19th- At around 1:30am, Ladder Truck 14 and its volunteer crew was alerted as the First Due Truck Company to the 5700Blk of Crestwood Pl in the unincorporated Riverdale area for a reported house fire. Truck 14 was the first arriving unit and found fire showing from the house. The crew made entry to find a fire that had extended from the back deck into the house. The crew forced entry, threw ladders, ventilated, searched, worked with the hose team to extinguish the fire, and overhauled. BHVFD operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
