Aug 7th- Ladder Truck 14 and its volunteer crew were alerted to assist units on scene with heavy fire showing from a town House. Units were initially alerted to the 7200-block of Paperbark Ter. in Laurel for a reported grill on fire. On scene, crews found fire visible from the rear and the roof, and a second alarm was sounded. Truck 14 arrived and positioned to the rear of the townhouse to gain optimal access with the aerial ladder for line-over ladder roof operations. Ambulance 14B and its volunteer crew was also alerted to the call as an additional EMS resource. Kentland VFD Tower 33 (County Reserve) was transferred to Station 14 for the duration of this incident to cover the area.
