Feb 5th- At Approximately 7:50 am, Rescue Squad 14, Chief 14B,  and surrounding units were dispatched to the 11200 block of Somerset Ave in Beltsville for a reported explosion. On scene, crews found a one-story warehouse with smoke showing from the front of the building. The building was evacuated, and while units were on scene there was another explosion which preliminarily appears to have come from a recycling unit inside the building. Squad 14 conducted searches and assisted the engine companies with extinguishing the fire in the recycling compactor.
