Squad 14 responded to the Inner Loop of 495 at Kenilworth Ave for a Personal Injury Accident. Upon arrival, units found a vehicle in the center median wedged under the metal guardrail.

At 1500 hours, Company 14 was dispatched to the 5400 block of Berwyn Rd in 14’s 1st due. Company 14 arrived on scene to find that the pedestrian bridge that spans the Metro and MARC train tracks had been struck by a piece of construction equipment and had partially collapsed.

At 1719 hours, Truck 14 was dispatched to the 6000 block of 85th Pl in Company 28’s first due. First arriving units found fire in a bedroom. The truck crew went to work completing primary searches, ventilating, and opening up for the engine crew. Truck 14 operated with 5 men and was ready for service at 1858 hours.
